When selecting a real estate agent, it’s important to work with someone that knows and understands the area that you are looking to relocate to or already live in. As a Dallas REALTOR® and resident myself, I take pride in knowing the market trends in the areas I primarily focus on. Although I work throughout the Dallas area, below you’ll find a list of East Dallas neighborhoods where I do the majority of my business.

East Dallas neighborhoods are categorized into smaller sub-areas. For instance, neighborhoods located on the west side of White Rock Lake are generally grouped under Lakewood or M-Streets. This area is also known as Greenland Hills. The area located to the east of White Rock Lake is basically referred to as the White Rock Lake area.

Together Highland Park and University Park comprise the Park Cities enclave in Dallas. Highland Park is considered one of the most affluent locations in Texas and has a median home price of over $1M. University Park is home to Southern Methodist University and is considered the second wealthiest city in the United States according to American Community Survey.

Things to do in Dallas –

If you’re looking for a metropolitan area that brings plenty of adventure, then Dallas is the place for you.

White Rock Lake has a 9.33-mile hiking and biking trail that offers beautiful scenery to adore. On warm spring days, Dallas residents love bringing their dogs to the dog park to work off some energy or packing a lunch to enjoy with friends and family at one of the picnic areas.

With more than one million visitors yearly, the Dallas Arboretum is located within the heart of East Dallas. The Arboretum is proud to offer an array of events every year and has an emphasis on family-friendly activities. With White Rock Lake as the background, this 66-acre park is full of beauty and endless discoveries.

As a Dallas real estate agent, part of my job is keeping up with all the area community events that take place throughout the year. To stay informed on yearly activities, be sure to follow me on Facebook.
