M Streets

The M Streets gets the name because of the two major streets in the area, McCommas and Monticello, and because many of the smaller streets also begin with the letter M. The homes in the area are mostly Tudor style architect and date back to the 1920s.

M Streets are located between the Park Cities area and the Lakewood area of Dallas. It is only minutes from Uptown, Downtown and lower Greenville – home to the yearly St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

The area has become popular over the years for young families who have children but don’t want to sacrifice the amenities that the big city of Dallas has to offer. Greenland Hills and Vickery Pace have conservation districts in place with restrictions which will ensure that the charismatic character of the neighborhood is never destroyed by new construction.
